It shows all the dlc in the tab where you can buy it from bioware but I have the ultimate edition dlc with valid key, dragon age 2 ultimate edition pc download. I have tried running all the programs that other guides have said to use and nothing will download my dlc. I have tried every update exe and dowload from the wiki and nothing will add my dlc to the installed tab or make it accessible in the game in any way.
I cannot play any other stories or follow the guy to warden's keep or find the quest that leads to shale in game etc. The dlc will not download at all.
Steam says that is downloaded but its not showing up. I also have the game registered through origin so I know that the keys are valid. Can anyone help to get my dlc for one of my favorite game working again? I have no mods installed and I have a fresh install on my computer, I've done nothing to alter it in anyway. Just revisited my own tutorial post about the matter. There is a trick in comments section. Did you try having both Steam and the DA:O launcher active, when running those applications? exe Sometimes people have hard time to activate DLCs and this seems to fix it for some of them.
Last edited by Ilja ; 17 Feb, am. When I open it through origins it loads up the steam ultimate addition version. I don't remember when which version on origin it is. Any time I install the steam version the origin one works as in i can activiate the ulitmate edition with the through origin.
But if i uninstall the steam version and then install the origin version it treats it like the original release version of the game from way back when. Either way both accounts should have all dlc but I can't get either one to work in game. Unfortunately that is a problem I don't know how to help with. I do not have Origin, so I can't test how cycle works between Steam and it.
I can see that you have game registered on Steam, so DLCs should appear. I can only think that system is currently dragon age 2 ultimate edition pc download from where to install DLCs. Unless of course third dragon age 2 ultimate edition pc download security application is silently blocking Steam executables from running. Alright I figured it out.
Thank you for your help IIja. Origin was interfering with the steam version of the game. For anyone else that might have this problem go into origin and click on the game properties and disable origin from interacting with dragon age origins.
